Most Disliked

Some patrons find the prices slightly on the higher side compared to other local chippies, though many agree the quality justifies the cost.

On busy days, wait times may increase, especially during lunch rush hours, which can be inconvenient for those in a hurry.

A lack of extensive drink options beyond cans might leave some wanting more variety.

Limited dining space can make it tricky to find a seat during peak hours, pushing some visitors toward takeaway instead.

Great tasting food and service. I got Fish and Chips regular with mushy peas and was impressed. The portion size was just right and it tasted exactly as it should. Couldnt ask for anything different other than a bit on the pricey side.

Called in today for the first time . Found the owner to be really friendly and interesting. Got 2 fish to take out. No complaints at all, freshly fried on ordering and they were amazing. Batter perfect and fish lovely & white. Would definitely go there again and thoroughly recommend it.

Has been a beautiful fish and chip shop for the last few years.so was saddened to see it had passed hands-best fish & chips in wyke bar none! Thought I'd give the new owner a go,looks like he's kept on quite a few of previous workers and Unbelievably it's gone up another notch: beautifully fresh cooked to order fish flakes &melts in mouth with banging crisp batter fresh potatoes that are cooked to perfection....they also dare to cook them till they're brown and crispy not white and anemic looking like the vast amount of fish and chip shops. You'd think it wouldn't be that hard 2 cook 2 products to perfection or at least well, but you'd be surprised in my experience most fish and chip shops leave me underwhelmed or straight disappointed and angry! So lucky to have this gem in wyke This is a brilliant plaice!!! Thank you for caring about food!!!
